FingerGestures v3.1 Released!

The waaay overdue 3.1 release of FingerGesture is now available for download on the Release section of the forum for registered users, and will be available on the Asset Store in the next few days.

Key highlights of this release:

  • Many major bug fixes and improvements, including:
    • Fixed multi-tap gesture recognition
    • Eradicated all the remaining run-time memory allocations
    • Fixed several run-time exceptions
  • New system/API to┬ámake gestures independent of the different screen pixel densities. This means your gesture will behave the same way on retina and non-retina displays.
  • New “pivot” twist gesture mode that allows the user to rotate his second finger around the first one
  • Added proper support for Unity 4.x
    • Added support for interacting with 2D sprites via the new Physics2D API (Unity 4.3)
    • Added support for Windows 8 phone and Blackberry platforms
    • Removed deprecated/legacy functions
